Beauty Banter

Colder temps + low humidity = limp hair stuck to my head.

It's almost like reverse static hair.

My hair is VERY straight and fine. In colder weather it looks like permanent hat-head.

I normally don't use products after I wash, but if anyone knows of something to remedy this, I'd be grateful!!! (I've tried hairspray...{#emotions_dlg.thumbdown})

Nobody else has this problem?

It must be all the ions in the dry Texas air! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Maybe I should look for a turban!!!!

My hair always performs so much better in cooler weather. I don't know what to suggest, but I hope you find something!

How do you style your hair? I'd think blow drying with a round brush would give it some volume. I have fine hair with a little wave and it does flatten out easily. Usually I just use a very small amount of volumizing mousse before blow dryng.

Today I used a shampoo and conditioner and my hair was too limp. I do better using a 2 in 1 product (shampoo & cond. combined) or I just use shampoo only. It's a trial and error process, I'm afraid.

I have straight, fine hair but lots of it. Live in Humidity Central (Seattle). I've been using Living Proof Fizz-Free shampoo and their volumizing mousse. I think with fine hair it helps to use a root volumizer, bend your head over and blow dry those roots.
