Best heat protectant spray for fine hair without stiffness?

I have very fine, thin hair. I recently purchased a Sedu straightener and my hair is currently above my shoulders with layers. I use several products for thickening, lift, etc, but it never has the "smooth" look like I have from the salon. I think I need a specific heat protectant? Which is best for fine hair? Biolage, Bed Head, drugstore? Suggestions please!
