Alice Cleveland was on the show Friday night. Wasn't she the short blond lady who used to sell the product to erase lines on your face? She now has a full head of dark brown hair and was selling Toppix. Is this the same person? Am I correct that she was a host at either QVC or HSN many years ago?

I did not catch the show...There was a host by that name who sold items on both HSN and QVC.

Alice was a very popular host on HSN in the 90's, she was their doll specialist. and yes, she was a blonde back then.

yes Alice was on HSN for the longest time and she had blonde hair back then. She was absolutely adorable.

She did a lot of doll shows with Tina Berry.

Back then HSN had two stations and I used to watch them on a portable tv on two UHF channels, 60 and 68 I believe....until cablevision came around decided to get rid of everything on UHF....and put them only on cable....first it was okay just getting the hook up, then they come only and state you had to have a digital cablebox and of course they charge you for like everything, even the darn remote....i have the box in my living room but not the in bedroom; just the regular hookup from my apt complex....in the bedroom they took over 30 stations away, including HSN and QVC....so my bill went from like 42 dollars a month to 78 now for the past four years!!!! smart people, they are really money hungry!

Have to admit, years back HSN had a great group of show hosts, Alice, Tina, Liz Benbroek, Michelle Lau, Tracey Edwards, Barbara Marville, Mindy McCortney...Bobbie Ray, Chris Scanlan, and Lynn Murphy are still part of the old timers. Plus Alan Scantz who does the coin shows. It was really good back then.

Some other old timers from HSN are Dan Dennis, Larry Muzzy,Barbara Marville, Robyn Krueger, Robin Michaels, Wendy Rogers, Dave Shimkus, Kimberly Wells, and Ed Purser and Steve Chaney who both passed away.

I had the pleasure of meeting Alice when we took the HSN tour in 1999. She had just returned to work after having heart surgery. She was quite short, blonde, wore a huge amount of makeup, and was absolutely adorable and friendly as she could be.
