Is WEN Really Good for Fine, Thinning Hair?

Hi ladies,

I know WEN is discussed here a lot including discussions about hair loss, etc. but I'm wondering if WEN is really good for fine, thinning hair. My hair is so thin, I use Joan Rivers Good Hair Day powder to help cover the thinning area in front around my bangs.

Any ladies out there with thinning hair that love WEN and if so, what "flavor" works best for you?

Thanks,

iachick

I use the Tea Tree and the Lavender. My hair is fine and thin, but not thinning right now. It took me a long time to get used to WEN, but to be honest, now I would have a hard time using anything else. It makes my hair more youthful and hydrated. The only way to see if your hair responds to WEN would be to purchase some. There will be people who respond to your post that will tell you they hate WEN. We are all so different, but it sure has made a positive difference in my hair. I will be 60 in March, and I do professionally color-treat my hair every five weeks. My hair dresser tells me my hair is very healthy.

Tea Tree and Lavender also. The new Pom is very moisturizing to me. Good luck.

My hair has always been fine and thin, and Wen is the only thing I use now. I always hated shampoo; my hair never felt clean, I always had to use detangler spray and it was always dry and staticy. So glad I found Wen. I've tried all the "flavors" and they all have their good points, but my favorite is Lavender, then Fig.

Thanks for your responses. Annie, I think you are right - the only way to know for sure how it will work for me is to try it.

I think the only way to know if any product will 'work' for you is to try it for yourself.

You seem to have read some on the use of WEN and these boards do have a lot of info on getting started. That being said...if you do try it and think it's just not 'it' you don't have to keep trying and trying and trying. Yes, it's a different concept in cleansing and it may take some time to adjust but not every product works for everyone so keep that in mind as well.
