Would you ladies suggest a moisturizer for me, I'm 63 and need to try something new. Pretty normal skin. Thank you.

Could you give us an idea of what you have been using now? Have you incorporated exfoliation into your routine to help your moisturizers work better?

Thank you for replying, I use Purity and Microdelivery by Philosophy and Aveeno moisturizer. Tried Hope in a Jar, but it smelled so awful, I didn't use it.

Thank you Bren, I will give it a try. I mix them up, seem never to be happy with one line.

I've been using Juice Beauty for the past couple months and love it. My skin gets pretty dry in the winter and this keeps it soft all day.

Hi, I had to stop the Purity/Micro things - I am 59. I find a range of things work well depending what you are looking for. The Olay products are nice, but too scented for me. Peter Thomas Roth makes a great Unwrinkle Night Cream with retinol that I use with his peel pads (or his retinol) that really steps up my routine and among normal benefits, my skin is more supple.

i could not use Hope in a Jar either, so join the club.

You might consider something like Dr. Denese Hydroshield as well since it is so light and soothing.

I confess to keeping some Aveeno around when I want something gentle with no actives.

I would suggest SSC's new Moisture Builder. I am using it and liking it. Last time Jen was on I heard her say the benefits of using it accumulate over time.

I am 62 and love Dr. Denese's hydroshield, tinted moisturizer, age corrector cream, and her 76% peptide concentrate. My nose still gets oily but the rest is just normal after years of being really oily.

I am 64 and use Clinique's Repairwear Day Cream, andRepairwear Night in the p.m. I also like Prescriptives Intensive Rebuilding for in the winter, really moisturizing. In the summer, hot and humid, I love Bobbi Brown's hydrating face cream.

To Waterlily,

I've found a skincare that I absolutely love and the name of it is BOOTS, found only at Target or online, made in England, and hypo-allergenic. Their Protect/Perfect INTENSE Serum is just awesome as well as their Day and Night Creams, different formulas for different skin types. I love their face mask which reminds me of pink whipped cream; their cleansers are all good - my favorite is the No.7 Soft/Smoothe. I just can't say enough about these products. By the way, I'm 67 and I highly recommend you give these products a try. I hope you'll like them as much as I do.

Hi -- I'm 73 (fortunate to have problem-free skin) and, after trying and discarding many brands, have been very happy with Principal Secret's Reclaim and Advanced lines. Both have just the right consistency and a very light and pleasant fragrance. If you haven't tried this brand, I do recommend it. Good luck in your search!
