Is there a shampoo out there that is better than Wen for color treated hair?

Anyone please. I am trying to find a good shampoo that is less expensive than Wen, but good for your hair and color treated. I am using Wen now, haven't used that long, not sure if I like it that well. I try to go every other day to wash my hair with Wen, but by the end of the 2nd day, it is starting to get a little greasy. Any suggestions? Thanks

I personally prefer Pureology Moisture shampooo and conditioner over Wen. I have much better "hair days" with it and can go 12 weeks between colors/highlights. My colorist always asks what I'm using. I don't feel as if the Wen gets my hair quite clean enough.

Sylv, I love Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner for Color Treated Hair. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Currently, Joico and Kenra are probably THE BEST available. Better than WEN in my professional opinion, and Biolog

Hi sylv,

Sally Beauty carries Hair One, which is a Wen dupe. The concept and method are virtually the same, of course the ingredients are different. My husband and I used this for about six months prior to taking the Wen "plunge" about two years ago. You will get the same benefits as using Wen, but I find my results (manageability & body) are even better with Wen over Hair One. I think it costs about $10.99...please check their site for size, correct cost etc.

Hope this helps some.

All the best, Neela

I am liking the TreSemme natural without sulfates...no more WEN for me. I finally got my first compliment on my long hair in years. No more dirty stringy crowns. Now how to get rid of the gallons....shaving, body wash, etc.

Hair One is a 12 oz container- I love the olive oil variety. I'm a Sally member, it's $10.49 then. And if you sign up on their website, they send offers for further discounts!

Hi Sylv, i have tried to love Wen, but my hair is sooo fine i simply cant use it, so have moved to Nick Chavez, its the kit that is a pink/lilac look, has 3 items, dont like that. would love to buy them on their own, but what i have found is, i use the Wen Styling creme, 2 small pumps and 7 spritzes of the Wen hairspray, and truly it gives me the best volume, and i have tried so many things for volume, and have now seen that i can use the Wen styling creme and spray, hope this helps any ladies who like me have useless fine hair, and want to love Wen and can't, this way my hair is still soft and has body, so i am going to stay with Nick Chavez for the moment, good luck with your search.

I''m sorry but your post is very hard to understand. You say you can't use Wen but then you say you use it and finally you're sticking with Chavez- very confusing.

I found the L'Oreal Ever Pure Sulfate-free Color Care System, the shampoo and conditioner and I love it. I use Wen after I color my hair because it needs the extra boost of condition but after about a week, I switch to the L'Oreal and I love it. Its not expensive either, about $5 each tube. I also use the Wen Styling Creme in the Lavender and about 6 pumps of the Lavender Lift Spray and put that in my hair before I style it and my hair is nice and bouncy and keeps its color well.
