What are some specific names of lipsticks that make your teeth look whiter? I think they have to have some blue in them? Am I right? Are there any you love and would recommend? I'm fair skinned so the blue in them would be flattering on my skin type.
Not sure about lipstick (maybe Lipstick Queen's Medieval Red), but Smashbox has smile brightening lipglosses.

I don't know any specific names, but there are lipsticks/glosses marketed as making your teeth look whiter. You can pay a big price for a highend product or you can buy one from the drugstore, like Sally Hansen's. I doubt there is any difference. I'd experiment on your own if possible. Going with your idea about a blue based color is probably as effective as anything else.
Thanks! It can be lipstick or lip glosses...I wear both.
I have used a couple of lip liners that even I think makes my teeth look whiter. Other people comment often on how white my teeth are, but I don't think they really are. In fact, I have tried bleaching, but I'm not always satisfied with the results.
The liner I have now is......"Jordana" brand, Easyliner for Lips, Coco (color). I buy it at Walgreens at the cosmetic checkout counter display. It is a roll up pencil....not a pencil that has to be sharpened. I have terrible luck with those:(
If you go on Clinique's website, they list (actually have a video I think) of several shades of their lipsticks that make your teeth appear whiter. I got a beautiful lipstick (Ice Bloom) in a gift with purchase kit that is part of the whitening group. But honestly the only thing that has really made my teeth whiter is Dr. Smigel's Supersmile. I actually noticed a difference right away. Good luck!
Any good "cool" color won't make the yellow in your teeth stand out. A pink, a berry...anything but earthtones or yellow-based reds.

I heard anything in the blue/red family. I wear a mauve shade.
Yes, blue based lipsticks are supposed to make your teeth look whiter. Just like blue eyeliner is supposed to make the whites of your eyes whiter. It offsets the yellow tint in the teeth/ skin.
