You may have all talked about this but I haven't heard where he went or what he's been up to since leaving the Q? He was my favorite host {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Boy, that's way back....he and Judy Crowell married....for about a nanosecond, I think...she came back and he faded into the sunset....must have done other things but, I never heard where he went....Judy then married Paul (the gem guy) and is still happily married to him as far as I know...they are both on ShopNBC now...she has her own clothing line...and he shows the more exotic gems he travels all over to find...but, never heard what happened to 'pretty boy' jeff

He really dropped off the radar, didn't he? A Google search brings up much banter, but no real answers.

I really liked, and miss, several of the hosts from that period. But QVC marches on!

After the big hoopla & short marriage rumors ran rampant on the boards. Jeff had his own website for a year or so, then disappeared. He was my favorite host too.

I wonder what happened to him. He had a big fan base at QVC, so one would think that he'd turn up on some other channel just like some of the other hosts & vendors have done.

Didn't he try to jump start a singing career or something after he left QVC?

It's as if he fell off the face of the earth.

Years ago he did have a web site and was coming out with either a book or an album/cd. He just kinda vanished after that.

Are we confusing Jeff with Steve Bryant. I remember watching a kitchen show--years ago when he whipped out his guitar and burst into song.

I don't have the Jeff answer,either... This is ironic bc I was going through a box of stuff to donate, and there was Jeff's "All My Best" cassette! From 1990, it still sounds great! Especially enjoy his version of "American Trilogy"! I'm going to put it out in my car!

No there is no confusing Jeff with Steve. Jeff was very handsome and Steve very personable.

I think he went into hiding.

There was a thread about Jeff just last week. No one seems to know what happened to him. Maybe he's staying off the radar because of his 5-minute "wifey." It seems she made his life a living h**l after the divorce/annullment. I hope he's happy wherever he is. And I hope he didn't marry another "Judy." He was a great host on QVC.

Curious about him, too.

Don't know about Judy's treatment of him after proceedings, but do recall that she did not look well at all on camera, as they were going over that very bumpy road. Her face was nearly expressionless. It was clear something very wrong had occurred. I think I had to ask everyone I knew before I found out that the "I do" was followed very quickly by the "I don't" followed by lots of skuttlebu** regarding Jeff's preferences.

I've Googled him a few times, but nothing ever comes up. It seems really strange how he dropped off the face of the earth. There are lots of chat sites devoted to TV and no one there ever seems to know either.....You'd think there would be at least someone who knows.....

I remember he was from Indiana.....and he had a brother.....That's about all the background that I can recall.....

I think their story even made "The Enquirer" or one of those papers.

When I began watching QVC Jeff did the 18-K gold shows, I think. I didn't know he and Judy were briefly married until after they divorced.

I heard that he was incredibly jealous over the attention Judy was getting over the wedding preparations...to the point where Kathy Levine had to tell him to knock it off...more or less. He was the one who made Judys life a living he##, and also some of the other hosts when the divorce was going on. He wanted them on his side, more or less. Hopefully he grew up some but I doubt it. He was the Q's 'golden boy' or so he thought, never thinking they would let him walk away without chasing after him. They did, and where is he now?

Don't know how long you've been around, but back then Kathy Levine wrote 2 books in which she mentioned Jeff & Judy in one of them. She didn't make it sound like "wifey" was the problem; rather that it was the other way around. Daysdee made a reference to what I'm talking about.

I remember Judy used a lot of air time talking about the details of planning her wedding and so forth. She also talked a lot about the wedding and reception when she returned to the air. She talked about dancing on chairs at the reception. I think she even showed pictures. There was a big ta do about all of it. She was called Judy Hewson for a while.

Then she began being referred to as Judy Crowell again. She made the statement a few times on air that it didn't work out and she did not want to receive inquiries about it, especially from callers. Somewhere along the line, they said they knew it on the honeymoon. I guess whatever happened on the honeymoon was sufficient to qualify it for an annulment.

I remember when Dan Hughes was getting and got a divorce, and then his meeting, falling in love and marrying the woman he's married to now. Watching QVC was more like watching a soap opera than a shopping channel.

I remember Jeff was talking about a ski trip he took and one of the callers (those darn callers lol) asked him if he took his beautiful wife Judy with him I was sort of shocked when he said "shes not my beautiful wife anymore" and attempted to laugh it off. The whole marriage lasted maybe 6 months if that long. I always thought Jeff batted for the other team, maybe that was the problem?

I remember Jeff, lol. Can't say I was ever really a fan of his. Mike Rowe has always been my favorite QVC host. Glad to see that he's moved on to bigger and better things. Love Mike!

I heard Mike Rowe showed up drunk for his Q interview and was hired anyway lol Hes such a talent even through the booze TPTB saw a gem. Love his dirty jobs show. There are also clips on him on Utube he was sooooo bored with Q he actually was mocking the merchandise.

I don't like to engage in that kind of speculation. However, in this case, in combination with other things, it kind of makes you wonder since they said they found out there was a problem while on their honeymoon.
