In Electronics Talk, Hosts & Personalities, TSV Talk 1353869081.523 Hi Christine, I purchased my HP 17.3" Pavilion dv7 AMD Quad Core 8GB RAM 750GBHD laptop from QVC on 12/11/11. It was working fine until Thanksgiving day, when it lost sound. I tried everything and the speaker icon says it is working @100%. Short of getting it repaired, is there any advice you can give me about getting the sound back myself? It is a great computer, but I am baffled why it lost sound.
