The CBTL has the advanatage of an easy add and larger water storage container. The CBTL also has a wide variety of pour ounce ranges compared to the Verismo, which has 3 (milk, espresso size, coffee size). The CBTL requires the use of a milk frother/heater but you can choose how much and what type of milk you want. Needless to say, the CBTL machine and coffee pods are less expensive, though you can use both brands of coffee pods interchangeably.
