I did P90X 10 years ago but some of the workouts were too long and because of my work schedule I could not get them into my day. The Insanity workouts seem to be 30-45mins but are intense which I love - the only question is if I can do modifications to accomodate my knee and still get the full benefits of workout. You CAN modify however there is a LOT of jumping and jump squats and SIDE TO SIDE moves which is really hard on your knees as well. ALL the Insanity work... You are sweating by the end of the warm up (Yes, just the warm up) I went back to my P90X and I've been doing that along with my treadmill or other Jillian DVD's for YEARS (many, many years) Would love to know if anyone else does this workout? I think it is a good combination. If you want to try aloe alone you could probably just try liquid aloe from the health food store. It would be less expensive. Thank you - I did try the liquid and it did not do anything for me. I take a flora products (Not Andrews) and I take Enzymes with every meal, I actually use Andrews Powder Fiber - you can't get it on HSN, it works really well - first one that doesn't cause constipation and really helps move things along :) Continue Reading In Wellness & Health 1368852305.51 On 5/17/2013 willdob3 said: I've got it & use it but I am not sure it is doing anything. I have never had the issues you mention. Thanks for your response, either way - I appreciate it :) Continue Reading In WEN 1368468510.567 On 5/13/2013 Alexis124 said: I don't but my best friend does. She uses the POM and the styling cream too! I don't know if her perm lasts longer, I would say not really, but her hair is much healthier and no frizz using the WEN. The WEN does weigh her hair down at all. Thank you Alexis - the last time I permed was 7 years ago. My hair is mid-back in length. Can't wait to not have to curl that or blow it ALL THE WAY dry each day!! I just have never permed and used WEN together. I'm excited to see how much better my perm will look :) I know most think perming is out however, my body perms ... She said it is healthy enough to do and I do not color so, I think I might go ahead and get one, a BODY perm, not sure curly - I have no texture in my hair and I need a little something so I'm not spending over an hour a day blowing my hair dry and curling it. I use WEN POM and the Styling cream and love them both, just wondering if anyone else perms that uses WEN? What "flavor" do you use? Does it help your perm last longer? Weigh it down at all? TIA for any input you have :) Continue Reading
