Fun-Abundance

How do you spell F-U-N?  What makes you laugh out loud…I’m talking about big belly laughs, the kind that brings tears to your eyes and the occasional snort!  Is it possible to ever have too much fun?  I think life has a way of keeping that in check for us.  Break out the hula hoops and fill up some water squirters…let the good times roll!   Make fun a priority.   When we make time for fun in our lives, we create the fertile soil for happiness and inner contentment.

It’s possible to have fun alone but it’s usually better in numbers so invite some people over.  Don’t worry if your house isn’t clean enough or big enough or “finished” enough for company…no one cares about the jelly fingerprints on the refrigerator door or the chipped linoleum floor in the powder room.  I surround myself with people who value our quality of time together as being enough and who cherish the moments that make us laugh and take our breath away.

Let’s channel some “fun-fest” energy into the universe and allow our inner child to take over our inhibitions, leading us down the road of giggles and lightheartedness…

I love summertime because it is so easy to pack up and go, whether it’s for the afternoon, the day or week.  It doesn’t have to cost a lot of money either.  Truly, it’s the simple things that are most meaningful in life while giving us the most uncomplicated fun.  Grab the kids and go on a bike ride; pack a picnic with your sweetheart; invite some friends over for a game night, or host a backyard barbeque for your neighbors.

Hospitality is one of the greatest gifts we can give our loved ones and ourselves.  It’s the best cure for loneliness, it can lift our spirits and heal our souls…so go ahead and throw a party!  Allow yourself to have some F-U-N!!!!

Share generously, laugh heartily and live abundantly.

Peace and love,

Donna
