Hi David,

Just love, love spring rolls. Takes a little bit of time to make them, but they sure are worth it.

Okay, Spring flowers. If I have to pick a favorite Spring flower, it would be my lilacs. I brought the bushes down from NY when we moved to Alabama; apparently they aren't that common down here. The smell is enough to drive a person crazy; especially in the evening if there is a slight breeze that carries the sweet fragrance all over the backyard.

See you Wednesday night; can hardly wait for Doris Roberts....{#emotions_dlg.wub}

Hi David:

My favorite spring flower has always been lilacs .. it is the one thing that I miss in Florida .. good OLD FASHIONED highly fragranced lilac .. fortunately I found a candle that smells very close ... I buy and burn them every spring (and sometimes during the rest of the year {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes} ). I will be watching Wednesday night .. looking forward to it!

Hi there David! Aside from Christmas, Spring is my favorite time of year. I love tulips...they just always make me happy and are so colorful. I actually ordered an Easter Lily and a Tulip for Easter Sunday to bring home. Our congregation orders these flowers and it is part of the decoration on Easter then we take them home to decorate our homes. :)

Looking forward to this recipe, I love spring rolls. Your recipes are the best, they are great for us home cooks. Looks like a lot of great progress on the cook book, I am so excited for it! :)

LILAC,LILAC,LILACS, DID I SAY LILACS! David B you are the coolest . I have bought many things from you . You could sell stripes to a zebra . I recently bought my first Temptations and I love it. I bought the Medallion in the cream. I know on the last show you has mentioned maybe getting more of that design to Tara Mc. I hope it's a done deal. By the way I live in MI. and Macinaw Island has a beautiful lilac festival every year and they have some of the worlds oldest living lilac trees there. And the island is filled with them. I also purchased the oasis folding cart in the steel it's very nice. Take care loyal customer.

AHCHOO!!! With my allergies, no fresh flowers in Da house, DV. Outside, the hostas grow on their own! We USE to plant Geraniums & dusty Millers & Lily of the Valley & Day Lillies grew at our old home. Ed LOVES Spring Rolls/Egg Rolls whatever. After my Rheumy Appointment today (wish me luck 4 a good report!) we're making Brown "fried" rice with Trader Joe's Egg Rolls. MMM! CU tomorrow! Hmm. Something new from Keurig??? OOH YEAH!!! EARLY HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY & HOPPY EASTER, too!

There isn't a spring flower that I don't like (especially after a long cold winter) but I would have to say that my favorite is lilacs. I love with when the breeze blows and the fragrance travels everywhere. I work in Washington, DC, and this time of year it is truly a beautiful city. Flowers are in full bloom but there is nothing like the Cherry Blossoms. The season was early (and short) this year but they were beautiful.

I would have to say the sweet little crocuses! They are also really pretty if you cut a few and put them in an antique teacup : )

David, my favorite flower is an African Violet. My grandmother bought one for me years ago and ever since then - any time I go into a garden center I look for those and think of her. She inspred me to grow a flowering plant and I don't tend to have a green thumb naturally.

Now I am growing a Meyer Lemon tree, 2 pepper plants and 2 avacado trees. :) Wish me luck. :)

Hi, David, Happy Easter (a little bit early). I love flowers, and my favorite is gallardia, especially the red/yellow combination. They grow wild at a little beach not far from me where I take my dog for a walk. I love to grow them in my yard as it reminds me of those beautiful sunsets over the water. I guess my "true" spring flower would be irises, as my mother grew some beautiful ones in the old homeplace. Looking forward to your show tonite! Karen in Florida

{#emotions_dlg.thumbup} Hello David and may I wish you a very Happy Easter. Although I'll miss watching ITKWD in real time (company coming), I will be taping your show so I can see all the new things and of course, even the not so new.

My favorite spring flowers have always been colorful pansies......I love the way they look and they always bring a smile to my face because they remind me of my grandmother who had a bed of them in her front yard. I also love daffodils, hyaciths (ahhh, the smell), and lilacs. A very happy spring to all! Smile

I've always loved Irises, the older bearded ones. We had them at home when I wa growing up and were able to divide them and plant them at our new home. Since that, we've divided and replanted at everyone's homes through the years. It's nice to look at them and know they've been part of our family for more tham 80 years now.

I had no idea there were so many fellow hyacinth and lilac lovers! Good to know there are those out there keeping my favorite flowers from going extinct since I don't have a green thumb.

Not a big fan of spring rolls as they nearly always have bean sprouts which I don't tolerate. If I manage to find some without - I dunk in whatever sauce is available! Now your salad last week with peanut sauce and put in a rice wrapper... yummy!
