Hello to all of my Women with Control® and Attitudes by Renee® ladies,

I enjoyed my time with you lovely ladies on Monday during Destination Gemstones. It was wonderful sharing the newest addition to my Life is Half Full jewelry family, my Attitudes by Renee® 2.25 ct tw Multi-gemstone Watch (J264255).

The rest of this week has been a whirlwind of fittings, design meetings and conference calls. I have little tricks to keep the vibe in my studio calm in the midst of all that goes on. My favorite is a fresh bouquet of flowers every week. This week‘s bouquet is filled with lovely yellow roses.

I am the only female in a household of males, including the dog. Men think differently, act differently, emote differently, and talk differently. Once I have gotten "in their face" about something (I believe honesty is always called for) I will not repeat it but I will let them know that I am not to be disturbed for the rest of the day. This means they are on their own to get something to eat, handle any problems that might arise by themselves, etc., but at no time are they allowed to knock on my bedroom door (called my refuge) for any reason whatsoever. This does not happen too often but I will not persist in any argument where I am in the minority, trying to explain to one of my men (well, not the dog although he listens better) why I am upset or in tears. It works 100% of the time because I am left alone to manage my frustration and hurt feelings. Please note, I consider myself one of the luckiest ladies on the face of the earth, but no household is perfect.
