It makes no sense to me the choices that the QVC management and buyers have made. If they offered a nice selection, IMO people would buy. Q talks a lot about being able to leverage their purchases, but only it seems when they choose to. Based on a lot of the comments and reviews, it seems that many who used to buy a lot have stopped and it's not just the economy, it's the selection being offered. Somewhere between the $1,000 pieces, there should be a middle ground even with the increase in metal prices. And since I'm on a roll about this, that stupid "wrist assist" thing they have to supposedly help figure ouw what size bracelet to wear is sooo useless. If it's not a hinged bangle, give me the diameter so I know if I can get it over my hand or not since that will be the thing I need to figure it out. I have an Effy emerald ring that is out of this world. I'm glad I bought it before the price of gold went nuts.

I agree. Nothing beats real gems, especially in 14k.
Speaking of silicone....I purchased a 14k turquoise cross from Q a few years ago that is filled with silicone. I wear it a lot and it still looks like new. I agree, I wouldn't want a lot with silicone but a couple of pendants are ok. Peace
