Q: Are there minutes included with this phone? A:  Yes,  the offer includes 600 minutes, 600 texts, and 600MB of data with 90 days of service (200 minute card, tripled to 600).


Q: How soon do I have to add the minutes? A: Promotional minutes must be redeemed by 1/31/14.


Q:  Do I need to activate my phone right away? A: You may activate your phone at anytime, but you must redeem your promotional minutes by 1/31/14 (full instructions provided in the Welcome Guide).


Q: Can you use the phone's other features with WiFi, without activating the service? A: Data services including web browsing and most applications can function over WiFi. Other basic features and productivity apps (camera, camcorder, calculator, calendar, notepad, etc.) can function without activation. Calls and texts will not function over WiFi and require activation.


Q:  If the phone is returned before using all the time purchased, will there be a refund on unused time? A: No.


Q: Is a complete Owner's manual included? If not, where can it be found? A: No, please visit www.tracfone.com Select Support, Select LEARN MORE ABOUT THE PHONE. Choose the appropriate phone model for more user information.


Q: Will it work with Adobe Flash programs? A: Yes.


Q: Can I move my existing cellphone number to the new phone? A: Yes, porting from one provider to another can take up to five days to complete and you may be without service during this time.  Some restrictions may apply.


Q: If I move my phone number from a different carrier, will the unexpired minutes transfer? A: No, minutes from other carriers cannot be transferred or applied to Tracfone, including StraightTalk and Safe Link.


Q: If I transfer my number from a different Tracfone phone, will the unexpired minutes transfer? A: Yes! You must request a transfer of existing minutes from an existing Tracfone through Tracfone Customer Service when porting your number. Transfer of minute and service days balances are at Tracfone's sole discretion.


Q: Can I transfer my land-line phone number to this phone? A: Yes, porting from one provider to another can take up to 5 days to complete and you may be without service during this time.  Some restrictions may apply.


Q: Can you make calls to Canada or Mexico? A: Yes, international calling to over 100 destinations (including Canada and Mexico) is included with Tracfone service at no additional cost; minutes will deduct as normal. This applies ONLY to US-based calls.


Q: Can you use the phone in Canada to call the US? A: No. 


Q:  Can the phone be used for international calls? A: Yes, international calling to over 100 destinations is included with Tracfone service at no additional cost; minutes will deduct as normal.  This applies ONLY to US-based calls.


Q: Can I download Android Apps to this phone? A: Yes. Data minutes/usage will apply.


Q: Where do you get the apps? A: Google Play store, which is an APP icon located on your phone's screen.


Q: Does the phone have text-to-speech capability? A: Yes.


Q: What megapixel is the camera? A: 3MP.


Q: Does it have a flash for the camera? A: No.


Q: Is the phone 3G or 4G capable? A: 3G capable.


Q: Is the phone Wi-Fi capable? A: Yes.


Q: Can it be used as a wireless hotspot? A: No.


Q: Are minutes charged if I text where there is Wi-Fi? A: Yes, minutes and text messages deduct as normal—even when connected to WiFi.  Data usage will not deduct when connected to WiFi.


Q: Can you watch videos or download music to the phone? A: Yes, via various third-party apps and the Google Play store.


Q: Does it support YouTube video? A: Yes.


Q: Can you get AOL and Yahoo email on this phone? A: Yes.


Q: Can you give different ringtones to different contacts? A: Yes.


Q: Does it have visual voicemail? A: No.

Q: Do I get free 911? A:  911 Emergency calls do not deduct minutes.


Q: Can I send and receive a picture on this? A: Yes.

Q: Does it have a GPS app for getting directions?    A: You may download the GPS App of your choice through Google Play store. Data minutes/usage will apply.


Q: Does this have Internet access? A: Yes.


Q: Does it require an antivirus program? A: No.


Q: Does it have push-to-talk, like a walkie-talkie?   A: No.


Q: Is there a credit check? A: No.


Q: Do minutes round up or down? A: Minutes round up.


Q:  Does billing begin at the start of the ring or at the beginning of the call? A: Beginning of call.


Q: Does this one price per month include all taxes and fees? A: There is no set monthly price/plan/fee- additional airtime/data is added in denominations as the customer chooses. Taxes may apply to airtime card purchases.


Q:  Are local and long distance calls the same price? A: Yes, nationwide long distance and international calling to over 100 destinations is included with Tracfone service at no additional cost; minutes will deduct as normal.  This applies ONLY to US-based calls.


Q: Is mobile to a landline included? A: Minutes will deduct as normal for mobile to landline calls.


Q: How do you activate the phone? A: Activate through www.tracfone.com or by calling Tracfone at 1-800-867-7183.


Q:  Are there activation fees? A: No.


Q:  Do the airtime minutes expire? A: Airtime denominations come with an allotted amount of service days. Unused minutes will expire by the assigned service end date unless more airtime is added. If airtime is added and service end date is extended, unused minutes will remain valid.


Q:  Are there termination fees or penalties if I stop using the phone? A: No, if you reach your service end date without adding additional minute/service you will lose any unused minutes


Q:  Can I buy the phone cards for this phone at Walmart, CVS, etc? A: Tracfone Airtime cards are available through thousands of retailers nationwide.  Selection and availability may vary store to store.


Q:  Is termination required? A: No.

Q: Will it scan bar codes? A: Yes, but you will need an App which can be obtained through Google Play store.
