Has this current model LG840G been upgraded from the one sold last year so that you can talk on it inside a mobile home without it constantly cutting out during talking?

Is this phone hearing aid compatible? Will there be annoying feedback? Can the key pad font be increased for better visibility?

Do you have to subscribe to Squaretrade in order to have the replacement plan? If the phone breaks, do you need the Squaretrade agreement or will it be replaced under the sales agreement?

It seems that there's internet access, but it uses up minutes. So it is true that if I were on the internet for 5 minutes, I'd be using up 5 minutes of talk time?

Also, I see that texting is included but there's no info re HOW MUCH TEXTING--is it unlimited? Does texting also somehow eat up talk time?

Thanks.

How does the Bluetooth work in the car and do I need additional accessories to use?

4boystrong1372740611.8571 PostsRegistered 7/1/2013

minutes will roll if more are added before service days end...does this exclude the promo 1500 that are included? Also, if I had to file a claim for a damaged/lost phone, would any remaining minutes on the old phone roll to the new one? Finally, I thought using the wifi feature, say at my home, was free. I read it will cost me minutes, is this correct?

What does blue tooth technology mean? what is the software to buy?

Why do they have the square trade up if this has the Wireless4Life program insert?.

Two questions:

1. My present cell phone contract expires 8/4/13. The posts above state that if I purchase this phone today I have 60 days to activate it. I would activate it on 8/5 as I want to keep my same cell phone number. Does that mean the 30 day QVC guarantee would be expired on this item?

2. How do I transfer all my contacts from my old phone to the new phone?

My question is that if you go to a place where there is free wi-fi (ex. Starbucks), are you still charged for the minutes used?

Thank you!

Why are the hosts advertising that you DO NOT USE MINUTES when you use wi-fi and this site says you use minutes? Which is correct?

Also how does triple minutes work? Is there a certain code that's needed?

Do remaining service days transfer along with minutes if you want to switch your existing phone? Also, is it possible to use the HALO through a computer to charge the phone rather than a car charger (I do not have a car.) Thanks.

I have a current Tracfone and have almost 2,000 min, will they transfer to this Tracfone? Also, will my existing remaining days left be added to the phone, which says must be used within 1 year, but if you renew before that year expires, the minutes will roll over, but I need to know that the days I have remaining will roll with this new Tracfone. Thank you.

HOW AND/OR WHEN WILL I KNOW WHETHER TRACFONE CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL, "AT ITS DISCRETION," ADD THE UNUSED MINUTES FROM MY EXISTING TRACFONE TO THIS NEW ONE? I HAVE TOO MANY EXISTING MINUTES TO JUST LET THEM EXPIRE ... AND I THINK THIS IS EXTREMELY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. IF TRACFONE CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL NOT HONOR MY EXISTING MINUTES, I WILL BE CANCELLING THIS TSV SMART PHONE ORDER.

Do I have this correct? You have 365 days to use the 1500 minutes and if you need no additional minutes do not need to buy more on a monthly basis until the 365 days expire? What happens after 365 days? Can one purchase another 365 day plan? Thank you

You will receive 3 texts (sent and received) per 1 minute and 2 minutes of internet browsing per 1 minute. Additionally, when conected to wifi, you will not deduct minutes for internet usage.

The included 1500 minutes are valid for 365 days. You can purchase more minutes as needed within your intial 365 days which will also add additional service days. Unused minutes will expire after the initial 365 days and you can purchase other allotments of airtime thereafter. Other 1-year increments are available for purchase.

Existing minutes from another Tracfone are transferrable to a new phone. Tracfone customer service can assist with the transfer of existing minutes.
