After scanning photos with HALO mouse, will I be able to use Photoshop or other software to edit the items? Any incompatibility issues/concerns?

I am in the process of prepping over 30 years of photos for professional scanning. If I buy this, will I be able to do this myself?

-Also, can I scan receipts or is it just for photos?

Thank you!!

Yes, you may edit as you can save the document to your computer and utilize programs you have to the file once it resides on your computer.

You can definitely scan receipts, documents, photos and anything else that you can see that you would want to scan. If you can "see" it the Halo Scanner Mouse can "see" it and scan it.

You may move it between different computers and download the software to each so when Halo Scanner Mouse is plugged into each computer it will recognize the Halo mouse. So yes it will most definity work on multiple computers.

Hello. Not sure I understand your question. We currently only offer 1 model. All 4 colors are the red, purple, blue and black.

Hi. The information indicates that it scans up to 16-1/2" x 11" in high resolution. Can it scan a larger size in a lower resolution or is 16-1/2" x 11" the largest size it can scan? I have 14 " x 14" scrapbooks I was hoping to scan but not sure this will be able to. Thanks!

Yes, you may. You would set up a file folder on your computer and then drag/save the pics that you want to all go into that file.

Please consider at least a 12" x 12" document size for scrap booking - I'd love to scan old scrapbooks and make digital books for my family. Last edited on 5/9/2013

I do not want to post separate files into one folder, I want to scan several documents into one file. I will be receiving postcard replies from invitations that were sent out and need to share them with 2 other people, there will be appoximately 600. I do not want to send 600 separate files for them to open, but would like to put those scans into one file. These files are all text and I would be using Word.

I see from the video that the background is also being scanned. Is there a way to clean this up to get a clean document which then can be saved, or shared?

I see that the largest photo you can scan in good resolution is 11 x 16.5". I have a 16x 20" B/W photo from the 50's that I want to make smaller copies of. Will this do a decent scan of this photo?

Hi-

I have several VERY old photos passed down from generations. They are black & white, of course, but some are faded, yellowed, & have creases. Does the Halo help correct any of these issues?
