Style Star

I didn’t know there was a name for it at the time, but in the early 90s, I worked with a “stylist”. Someone whose job it was to choose the clothes I would wear -- “put me together” so-to-speak, to make me look my best.

I had been selected for a make-over for a local television show, and that meant, make-up, a new hair-do, and an outfit selected for me by a “style professional”. I remember enjoying the process tremendously. The clothes were fancier and of better quality than I was used to wearing. It was the era of the “power suit”, and if the power suit was red... watch out!

By the way, I used that picture of me in the red power suit when I went for my audition for this job in 1995. The power of a woman in red -- watch out!

What sparked my memory about that make-over is our Today’s Special Value guest coming up this Monday, the incredible, Lori Goldstein. Lori is one of the fashion industry’s most influential stylists and her impeccable taste and eclectic fashion sense are the things we love about her LOGO collection created for QVC.

Lori sees clothes as a form of self-expression. Her signature silhouettes and interesting combinations are original and fun. Taking inspiration from all of the amazing things that she finds beautiful and helping women find the beauty and whimsy and joy in getting dressed every day.

A great stylist, a great designer for that matter, helps you show the best that you are through the clothes you wear. And with Lori, your best is easier than you think!

Warmest wishes,

Leah
