This is SIRI-iously Good Stuff - Apple iPad® 4th Generation

by on ‎01-16-2013 04:29 PM

Last week, I had the chance to attend the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Alright let’s get the obligatory information out first. Yes, I had a lot of fun. Yes, I DID work. Yes, I lost a little money. However, the most impressive thing I saw all week was the influence one company had over the event, and it was a company that wasn’t even there. Of course, I’m talking about Apple. The tech giant from Cupertino doesn’t set up a booth in the middle of the 150,000 people combing the convention center floor, but their influence is everywhere. Hundreds of other companies devoted their booths to cases, keyboards, speakers, headphones, and every accessory imaginable to work with Apple products. In fact, one of the coolest items I saw was an attachment to the iPhone® that can turn your device into your home remote control. Seriously cool.

Not surprisingly, my iPhone® 5 and iPad® 4 were trusty sidekicks in Sin City. Without them, spending more than 10 hours on planes and countless hours at meetings, dinners, and events would have been much more challenging. Lately, the feature I’ve been using most has been Siri®. Outside of the women in my family, this lady may be the greatest woman in my life. I now use voice recognition software every chance I get. Instead of typing an email, I hit the little microphone button on the keyboard and speak. If I need directions, Siri gets it done. Need to check in on my favorite sports team, thanks again Siri. If you want to see more of what the latest iPad® can do, check out Saturday’s TSV. Dan Wheeler and I will be kicking things off at midnight and we’ll be having a ton of fun with the iPad® 4 throughout the day.

Check out this video, as one of my dear QVC friends & Program Host Albany Irvin shows you more about this great offer!
