Birthday Fun and Fall Favorites

Wanted to catch you up on all that’s been going on around here and what I’m really looking forward to in October! First of all, I have to say that my mom and I had a wonderful time celebrating her birthday in August. We treated ourselves to a celebratory dinner at one of mom’s favorite restaurants and just enjoyed being together (see her fabulous birthday cake below!).

I think many of you know how special my mom is to me, so it’s always time I treasure when I’m with her – whether we’re cooking in the kitchen, travelling together, or just hanging out Smiley Happy Love you, mom!

And here’s what I’m looking forward to this fall…cooler weather, apple-picking, and lovely fall get-togethers. And on that note, coming up is a very special day here on QVC - October 9th – when I’ll be sharing something new that will truly make the most of your fall entertaining and holiday gift giving. Stay tuned for that! The excitement continues on October 14th when I visit my alma mater, West Virginia Wesleyen. I’ll be speaking to students as part of an Alumni Lecture Series, visiting with professors and old friends and just savoring the memories of the great times I spent there.
