Week 7 of the NFL

The quarterback carousel is in full swing as we head into Week 7 of the NFL season. It looks like the Vikings are scrapping their plans to have veteran Donovan McNabb lead their team. This week, rookie Christian Ponder takes over as signal-caller and the team prepares for a visit from defending Super Bowl champions, the Green Bay Packers. When Washington visits Carolina on Sunday, John Beck will be under center replacing Rex Grossman. Finally, Tim Tebow gets his big chance to start in place of Kyle Orton when the Broncos visit the Dolphins on Sunday. Frankly, I don’t understand a lot of the criticism directed at Tebow recently. He's a stand-up guy in the way he lives out his faith and fights for his teammates. He's a fierce competitor and I think he'll do just fine.

It'll be interesting to see if the Detroit Lions can bounce back from their first defeat of the season at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers. They have a bit of a challenge with running back Jahvid Best on the sidelines with an injury. The Lions have a tough task visiting the Atlanta Falcons this week. The Eagles have a bye week to get ready for Week 8 and try to extend their one-game winning streak. The NFC East is wide open for the taking. Finally, the NFL takes its version of football to the international stage as the Bears and Buccaneers play this week at Wembley Stadium in London (where they usually play a different type of football).

One thing you can always count on during football season is the NFL Shop on QVC. This Monday, October 24 at 6 p.m. ET, we'll feature FREE STANDARD S&H on all jackets and hoodies. The star will be the NFL Pro Line metallic team logo fleece hoodie for men and women. It's available for 2 Easy Payments to go along with that shipping offer. I hope to see you Monday night!!!
