Week 6 of the NFL

by on ‎10-17-2011 12:40 PM

OK, here are my big “surprises” as we head into Week 6 of the NFL. At the top of my list, and much to my delight, is the fact that the Detroit Lions are undefeated and sit atop the NFL North with a 5 0 record. They're joined by the only other 5 0 and undefeated team in the NFL, defending Super Bowl champs, the Green Bay Packers.

The other big shocker in the NFC is in the NFC East division. There was a lot of talk about this being the Eagles’ year with all of their free-agent signings. But the “dream team” has turned into a “nightmare” for Eagles’ fans. A lot of people are surprised by the success of the San Francisco 49ers this year under new head coach Jim Harbaugh. The former collegiate and NFL standout quarterback was an outstanding coach at Stanford and continues to work wonders in the NFL.

In the AFC, I'm pleasantly surprised to see the Buffalo Bills tied for first with the New England Patriots, both boasting 4 1 records. And finally, congrats to the San Diego Chargers who have the same record and are in first place in the AFC West.

Tune in to the NFL Shop on QVC this coming Monday, October 17 at 6 p.m. ET to find a surprising collection of NFL gifts for the fan in your life. One of the stars in this week’s lineup is a brand-new NFL fleece hoodie for men and women at a Featured Price, for 2 Easy Payments, and with FREE S&H. The other is back by popular demand. It's the fleck design NFL hoodie for men and women. I can’t wait for Monday.

See you then!
