Coming up on Week 5 - NFL is Wide Open

The 2010 NFL season is a wild one and, as we have already witnessed, every week is wide open.  Anything can happen which keeps all of us tuned in every week.  And, surprisingly enough, there is only one unbeaten team after just four weeks-the Kansas City Chiefs!

The Chiefs have a tough running game and their “no name’ defense seems to be blossoming under new coordinator Romeo Crennel.  KC will be tested in a big way this week against the Indianapolis Colts and one of the best quarterbacks ever to play the game-Peyton Manning.  That game will be played at 1p.m. ET this Sunday and I have it on my “can’t miss” list for football viewing.

Another game that is quickly taking center stage is the Monday Night match-up between the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Jets.  This game gets more interesting by the day as future hall of famer Randy Moss returns to the Vikings lineup.  With future hall of fame quarterback Brett Favre looking for him they should both put up some big numbers.  Favre is just one touchdown pass away from 500 for his career and wouldn’t it be great if that pass were thrown to Randy Moss?  The Jets are playing well with Mark Sanchez settling in behind center.  He’ll have a new target this week in Santonio Holmes who makes his debut in a Jets uniform.

I hope you won’t miss this week’s NFL Shop on QVC at 6p.m. ET Monday, October 11.  We have a sizzling product lineup including several breast cancer awareness apparel items (what lady doesn’t look great in pink?)  Also look for an ultra plush team throw and one of the most fashion forward NFL hoodies yet!  It’s an acid-wash treatment with team colors and logos that will turn heads.  I hope to see you there!
