I had so much fun with all of you last Monday night with our PM Style chat question, “What’s your fav toenail color for summer pedi season?” I love how crazy opinionated and passionate gals are about something as innocuous as toe polish. So it got me to thinking about my own piggies, the sandals I just bought in NYC on my “besties trip”, and the lead up to the big moment….Summer 2015.

To begin, since you always ask about what I’m wearing, here are my new "babies", aka, my acquisitions on said NYC trip. These are the sandals I bought...

Plus, there are new sandals from QVC that I’ve fallen for and just had to own, so they too are taking up new residence in my closet. Vionics are a particular favorite of mine because of my bad feet. I’m telling you they have been restorative to my hurty piggies and related knee issues, so that for the first time in years, I can now wear heels more than ever. Yay Me! Er, yay Vionic!!! and ok truth... they do still hurt hence why I take those darn heels off so fast after my show like Oprah used to do. The crew nearly gets whiplash watching me and ducking. ; )

Summer also brings mani / pedi season and I have been rocking a nail color lately that you have asked about, so I thought I would share. Perfect Formula is a huge fav of mine and I wear it all the time, it’s how I got out of fake nails and repaired mine in order to grow long and strong. This is a new color coming to Perfect Formula's Holiday 2015 collection...

Speaking of nails, back when I had fakes (which if they didn’t require so much money and time, I would love to still have them) I loved playing with fun nail art. It’s thrilling the kind of stuff you can do with nails now. You know how I love the ‘bugs. This was Summer 2014…

I love Julep nail polish, can’t rave enough about their fun colors and glitters. But BEST of all, is Julep Polymer nail polish. You MUST own this if you do your own nails. It’s like a polymer gel top coat that not only gives glass like sheen to your nails, but dries them and makes them smudge proof and touchable in minutes. It sold out when it was on Tuesday Night Beauty. I live for the stuff when I do a quick dash polish minutes before I go on air and need a super fast dry. Amazing.

PS: A close cousin to toenails and sandals, is self tanning. If you are lost, scared, jaded, or stuck…let me recommend a few awesome ones that are newer to the scene. Josie Maran’s just sold out on PM Style a few weeks ago and it is incredibly affordable for self tanner…it is Argan Oil infused and comes with a luxurious velveteen application mitt. Vita Liberata lasts gobs longer than most tanners and the color brown it makes you is enviable. And St Tropez has a new one called Express Tan. It’s not only light and airy like their original mousse, but now it develops faster so you can sweat, shower etc in as little as one hour. A one hour tan!! I use all three and love them. And if you want a little faux glow for your face, Im obsessed with and addicted to Dr Dennis Gross GLOW pads. They are the absolute best thing in the world. (Next to wine, pasta, cheese, and European vacations.)
