For 22 years, I have had the fun of shopping and pleasure to share the Shoe of the Day on QVC!  I have always looked at these special shoes and boots with a special fondness over the years..but it was not until a few weeks before Christmas three years ago that I really understood breast cancer. 

My younger sister Karen was diagnosed with a type of breast cancer that would have previously been a fatal diagnosis for women.  My sister has four beautiful children and a husband who she was not ready to leave.  She was blessed to find an amazing doctor and after radical surgery and chemotherapy was poised to fight for her life.  What amazed me were all the women who were willing to help with information, advice, and encouragement for all of us. 

As you can see from the pictures she is a survivor.  I speak for my family and friends when I say thank you for your prayers and in believing in miracles.  So when you look at your new shoes from Shoes on Sale, know that I am thanking you for giving me more time with my baby sister and for giving Nikki memories with her Aunt Karen!
