The Gluten Free Cookbook from America’s Test Kitchen is here!

For a year now, I have been eating gluten free. It was advised by my doctor and I always do what she says! Any time you have to re-learn one of your “fundamentals” it can be tough. I needed to re-learn how to eat for me. Where to start? Who can I ask? What on Earth can I eat? I learned a lot from Chef and blogger friends, researching on the internet, and trial-and-error. But it took a lot of time.

My good buddies at America’s Test Kitchen shared that they were working on a gluten free cookbook a little while back and I could not have been more excited.  I love their programs, their library of recipes, and I consider Julia Collin Davison an expert on kitchen, cooking, and baking knowledge. If THEY were writing a GF cookbook, it was going to be amazing.

Sure enough, it absolutely is. I have been lucky enough to gluten free cook using their recipes for the last couple of months and I am even more impressed than I thought I would be. You can count on ATK to be thorough, delicious and they always explain the “why” for what you’re doing. But here is the most important thing: THESE RECIPES ARE DELICIOUS. Everything I have tried (and I’ve made more than a dozen recipes from this book) so far are flavor-packed and crowd-pleasers! Thanks to their guidance I now make a FINE:

Gluten Free Blueberry Muffin (so packed with flavor, you miss NOTHING)…

Gluten Free Lasagna (better than ANY lasagna I have made in the past)…

And Gluten Free Raspberry Streusel Bars (I did not even know I could do it. They were gone in one day)!

Please know, you CAN do this. If you have been advised that you should try eating gluten free, it is not as hard as you may think. Save yourself the hassle I went through to learn about this way of eating and try this book.  It’ll help get you started and will help keep the variety in your eating routine as you get more familiar.
