November in Ireland brings strong winds and plenty of rain, so why not enjoy this fierce weather with a trip along Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way?
The world famous costal route is 2,500 kilometers (1,553 miles) long and stretches from Kinsale, in the South of Ireland, all along the west coast ending at the tip of County Donegal.
It takes in the wildest and most breathtaking scenery, and you can really feel the land and wild sea collide as you journey along the route.
If you are planning to take this trip, it’s well signposted with the distinctive 'WWW' logo and, in many cases, brings you off the beaten track to visit tiny villages and hidden coves – quite a treat!
I did not get to travel the whole route, but the photos I am sharing are from the Red Strand in County Cork, the North Mayo coastline, to Ballycastle Head, and its famous sea stack.
The wind was fierce, the sea was wild, and the rain was bucketing down, but the stunning beauty of the land and the awesome sight of the Atlantic ocean made this a memorable trip, and I am happy to share this with you.
