Hello, foodies…

The amazing Ina Garten was in our QVC kitchen yesterday and I had so much fun!

Those are just some of the folks who helped make yesterday’s presentation so successful…a GREAT big thank you to everyone at QVC for helping me introduce you to such a culinary legend. I hope you enjoyed meeting her as much as I did. And, I hope you were one of the lucky ones to pick up her new cookbook...Make It Ahead. It sold out yesterday, but is available on Waitlist if you’d like a copy.

It feels like a fall day here in West Chester…how about where you are?

In fact, I went to the farmers’ market today to pick up some of those wonderful harvest ingredients and was overwhelmed by the colors around me. I usually wait to decorate for autumn in October, but October will be here on Wednesday! I’d better get busy!

October will be another very exciting month. I can hardly believe it, but my new cookbook, Back Around the Table, ships to your door on October 7. I can’t wait to hear what you think of the new recipes, which I like to describe as comfort foods with a twist. You can still pick up your copy at the Advance Order price. And if you haven’t seen the on air presentation yet, we’re featuring it this week and next on In the Kitchen with David.

In honor of the changing of the seasons as well as the launch of my cookbook, our October theme on ITKWD is Classics with a Twist. First up this Wednesday night is bound to be your new favorite game-day dip: Philly Cheesesteak Dip!
