With the calendar start of fall, we know it for sure; the summer of 2014 is officially a wrap. This summer was a milestone for me because I got to visit my family, outside of the Christmas holiday, for the first time in decades! Two glorious trips filled with lazy days and much frolicking.
Lazy: I spent time in the hammock, or playing Yahtzee with my two nieces.

And I made a return trip to see my sister’s theater company perform South Pacific. High school students performed the play, and they were phenomenal!
2014 was a glorious summer, and now it’s fall! Time to get out the sweaters and boots and get cozy. When you look back at your summer what will you remember most, and what are you looking forward to this fall?
