Hi everyone! Well, last week was one heck of a busy week! I showed my couture collection for Spring/Summer 2015 at in Lincoln Center on Monday Sept. 8th. Mercedes Benz Fashion week is an amazing time in NYC with every major designer showing their collection in these gigantic tents put up just for the shows. I had close to 1,200 people attending and it was an amazing day.

At the beginning of my show we had a moment of silence to honor my dear and beloved friend Joan Rivers. Over the past 30 years she was often in my front row cheering me on. She will be greatly missed by me and so many others.

This season, my good friends Jada Pinkett Smith, Lisa Rinna, Hoda Kotb, Star Jones, Beverly Johnson, Carol Alt, Ivana Trump and both Paris and Nicky Hilton were all in my front row for the show. Every single magazine was in attendance including Vogue, Elle, Harper Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Town & Country just to name A few. The collection was inspired by the resort towns on the Mediterranean Sea during the 1960's with long flowing chiffon gowns and the cutest short short rompers. The collection also included short bolero jackets as well as tunic tops with skinny pants. The colors were pale pastels and light grays and taupe. I always like to translate my runway collection for my Dennis by Dennis Basso line on QVC. As you have heard me say many time on-air, it is very important to me to always bring you the newest and exciting fashion trends. Once again, both suede and leather are important looks 12 months out if the year. Please enjoy the photos from the show and the fashion show video.
