Hosts are sharing Destination and Decorating Christmas past!

One year Gabby and I made a last-minute holiday road trip by car from San Antonio to our favorite place in the world, a small town in Colorado named Ouray. We didn't have room for a proper Christmas tree in the car so we packed a Charlie Brown tree in the trunk! It was without a doubt our most memorable Christmas ever. I can't wait to do it again!

We travel a lot and love to spend holidays in different places. This was in 2010 with two little ones, we spent Christmas in Seattle with part of my family that lives these.  It was a chilly & fun holiday for this California crew.

Our family's tradition for the last few years is to go to NYC the Sunday before Christmas, go to church at the Brooklyn Tabernacle, eat somewhere fun and go to see the Rockefeller tree! See the new tall Freedom tower!

Merry Christmas in July! My Mom always liked to host a "Open House" around the holidays. She would invite friends to drop in, and we would have the house all decorated and, of course, yummy treats! So, since we spend so much time together I thought I would host a virtual open house and share some of my favorite decorations with you! (Feel free to munch a Christmas cookie along with me!)

Here is my living room, and we spend a lot of time here with friends and family. It's also where Deirdre displays her Nativity collection.

These are some of Deirdre's Nativity sets; she loves to find unusual sets and has even more around the room.

My Mom left me her precious Hummel Nativity set, and my Dad made me the stable to display it. One of my most treasured pieces. Baby Jesus makes his appearance on Christmas eve.

And he powder room gets overrun with snowmen!

Saw this house last nite (Dec. 27th 2013) on way to friends. Awesome! Cars lined up to see it. Now that's some accessorizing. Glad to see others keeping decorations up even tho Xmas is over.
