Holiday Tips from Antonella

Although this time of year can get very frantic, I really try to keep in mind what it is all truly about for me and my family. The key is to keep it simple, simple, simple... but that doesn't mean sacrificing how big I like to make it!! I start with the decorations; make one holiday’s decor easily stretch into the next.

Here's what I mean: For me, Thanksgiving is all about homecoming and that means wreaths! The rule of thumb is, if it doesn't light up, it isn't Christmas decor. Soooooo, the wreaths go up, but the little light switch behind the wreath isn't flipped until the day after Thanksgiving.

The house, windows and doorways are adorned with wreaths, but after turkey time, flip a switch, lights come on and BAM...it's Christmas!!! Yeah, yeah, I add more as time goes on, but the bulk of it is in the bag! Good, huh? Then there is the shopping...YIKES! I get as much as possible delivered to my door (I know, I work at QVC and this could sound like a sales pitch, but it really does work for me.) The less time I spend finding parking spaces, fighting crowds and using up gas, the better. I do a lot of online shopping.

I hope this helps, just remember what the season is all really about and hold peace in your heart and family in your arms.

Xoxoxo,

Antonella
