Hey QVC beauties!

First of all I want to thank you for visiting my blog. I have so much to share with you. This month I was chosen to walk in the Dosso Dossi fashion show in Antalya, Turkey. It’s one of the biggest fashion events in Turkey. Their past shows have included top models including Irina Shayk, Miranda Kerr and Adriana Lima, so I was incredibly honored to say the least! Here’s a look inside my first trip to Turkey!

I never check a bag when I travel so my purse is always packed! My camera and journal are with me wherever I go, I love to write about my experiences and capture beautiful images. I also carry a few of my favorite shades of Wander Beauty lipstick, you can easily transform your look from day to night with a pop of color!

I stayed at the Mardan Palace, the most opulent hotel I have ever seen. I was welcomed with flowers and a delicious kebab meal. Before bed I enjoyed a traditional Turkish bath treatment where I was exfoliated and then covered and scrubbed with bubbles, I loved it!

The day of the show started with breakfast, including a few cups of Turkish tea to stave off the jet lag. Then the hair and makeup team arrived to glam me up!

Here are a few of my beauty secrets for looking fresh when you haven’t had enough sleep or are jet-lagged. I spritz myself with cold Avene water when I wake up, then I apply two types of eye masks, one for hydration and one frozen mask for depuffing. Finally, I add individual eyelashes and a touch of highlighter to really open and brighten my eyes. Trust me you will look like you slept like a baby.

I loved the final look for the show! The makeup artist really emphasized my eyes with lashes, brown eyeliner and shading in the crease of my lid. To finish off the look the hair stylist gave me a side part and light waves, very classic. My hair has been through a lot in ten years of modeling! So about a year ago, I started using Wen by Chaz Dean cleansing conditioner and have noticed such a difference in the shine and look of my hair. Thank you Chaz!!

Backstage at the Dosso Dossi show in my first look. I was chosen to open the show and was starting to feel the nerves here! Thankfully the music was great, the opening song was "Hideaway" by Kiesza. I’ve learned to just dance and enjoy the moment. It felt great to be back on the runway, one of my favorite parts of modeling.

I was so inspired by the Turkish fashion. I noticed yellow is a big trend there for spring as well as light and bold shades of coral. I’m always taking mental notes for future Wander Beauty color collections! I wore an elaborate handmade suede cape with this gorgeous headpiece, the designer asked me to really work the cape to show off the design, it was a lot of fun!

Welcome to my home away from home! After the fashion show I returned to the hotel for press interviews. I couldn't resist snapping a shot of this grand staircase, the runner was perfect inspiration for our signature shade, Wanderberry.

I woke at 6 am the next day to get ready for my flight back to NYC. The sunrise caught my eye through the drapes in my room, it was absolutely breathtaking. I enjoyed a moment of peace and gratitude, while also taking note of the beautiful shade of magenta! It was such a quick but incredible trip and I can't wait to visit again.
