Think of the transformer book as half laptop and half tablet. That's really what it is as the 11.6" screen can separate from the keyboard to give you a stand alone tablet experience. I have to say I was in love with the versatility. 

Also, the fact that it is super lightweight - only 3.6 pounds!! makes it ultra-portable.

With Windows 8 I was able to easily breeze through all of my tasks at work. Plus, I have to say I felt pretty cool carrying it around for all of my meetings with ease.

Make no mistake this Asus transformer book is a powerhouse with Intel processing. Anything and everything you would expect with a laptop or desktop computing experience in a much, much smaller portable size. The only thing you'll have to give up is your optical drive. If you're okay with that, this is a great option for ultra portability and lightweight computing.
