Emerald Dragonflies & Rich Irish Folklore

Hi Everyone!

Its only a few days until Joseph and I travel to the USA for St Patricks Day!  We are super excited and getting ready here at JMH Jewellery.  Our products arrived in QVC already; we just need to get there ourselves now!  We are thrilled with the selection we are bringing to QVC for St Patrick’s Day... Just wait and see...we've been working on pieces of jewelry inspired by Ireland's rich collection of folklore, and the results are just stunning!

Also, for the eagle eyed among you, have a look at this picture of Joseph and I discussing the early storyboard design for one of our new items... what could it be? Delicate swirls...pretty knots...lets add some vibrancy in the form of gemstones…Peridot, Garnet, Citrine, Blue Topaz and Black Spinel!  Oooooooo!

Who likes dragonflies?  We discovered recently that Ireland is home to a very rare dragonfly known as the Emerald Dragonfly. It lives in high up in the mountains in Kilarneys National Park in Co Kerry, in the south west tip of Ireland.. Joseph & I were inspired by his vibrant green beauty, and we designed a gorgeous pin pendant which we will be thrilled to air on St Patrick's Day.

And this little treasure is Jeanne, she came with me to QVC last year to celebrate St Patrick's Day, this year she's staying home with her dad. Here she is modelling one of West End Knitwear's sweaters. I think its a little too big!!

We cant wait to get to QVC, looking forward to seeing you on March 17th!
