We identified a similar issue with the InsideQ magazine website, which we are now correcting.
We determined that this issue was caused by a recent programming change that intermittently populated the member ID field of the log-in page with the member ID of a different person who previously logged-in to the site. We want you to know that this issue only occurred on inactive login pages, which means that users were not actually able to log-in to any QVC account from the pages where the issue occurred. In some instances, the sign in screen included a member ID that may not have been your own. We brought the Community site down last night so we could make the necessary changes to correct the situation. We identified the technological glitch that caused the situation and fixed it.

The login screen was actually inserted above all of the Community forums and blogs (if you scrolled down on the page).

Many of you have wondered if we were ever going to bring this function back (we saw the forum conversations, and received many phone calls). I would like to thank the QVC Community for bringing to my attention an unintentional mishap during the early Monday (11/29) morning demonstration of the e-reader. There was evidently offensive language on one of the pages that we showed, which was visible during a close up shot. I am truly sorry for this incident and take responsibility for demonstrating the wrong book download. It was certainly not my intention to offend QVC customers.

To improve the performance of the tool we needed to temporarily reduce the amount of Wish List items a customer can view.
At peak times, we may need to temporarily limit the number of items a customer can view to 200 items or less. Normally customers can save up to 500 items into a Wish List.
Don’t worry! If you are one of the few customers that had over 200 items in Your Wish List, after this peak time you will be able to view those same items again.
