Yes, yes, I realize we did not feature a Fur Baby of the Month for June, but I hope you didn't think I had run out of pets to feature!! LOL

We were on vacation for a big chunk of June, so my pets got a little break from me chasing them around the house with a camera!! But, we are back this month with one of our favorite Fur Kids, Pinot (sounds like Keeno), the Cat!!

We adopted Pinot as a tiny grey furball of a kitty from a local shelter almost 2 years ago. While tiny, he used to love to climb up inside a rolled up rug that was leaning against the wall in our master bath, and peek out the top end at my husband while he was shaving each morning. Hubby would see him in the mirror...since the rug was behind him while he was standing at the sink. Pinot never knew he was being observed, or he probably would have tried to look even cuter....(if that is even possible!)

Now he is a great BIG furball kitty and is one of the sweetest, lovey-est cats in our family. His favorite spot is on the back of the sofa, next to Nelson or Purrl, napping while we watch TV in the evening.

He loves our dogs....Eliza is his favorite. (Actually ALL the cats love Eliza! She is the Pied Piper of all the pets!) Pinot was named for his grey color, and after my favorite type of wine, Pinot Grigio!! He is scrump-dilly-ish-ous and our Fur Baby of the Month!! Here are his fast kitty facts:

Nicknames: Peanut, Pee-Not, Pin-wah, Lovey Cat

Breed:  American Long Hair (He's a mixed breed fluffer-nutter)

Predominant colors:  Grey and White

Age:  about 2 years

Weight: Ummmm.....let's just say I'm WAY to big to climb inside that rolled up rug in Mom and Dad's bathroom anymore! But, really I'm mostly FUR!!

Favorite Food: All together now..."CHICKEN"!! But I also love Fancy Feast and my special dry food mix that mom give me.

Favorite past time:  Napping in the window or on the back of the sofa!

Second Favorite Past time....Licking water from the dripping faucet!!

Scariest Moment:  Once I ran out the front door when a visitor left it open a little bit by mistake! Mom was at work and Dad was in the basement, but luckily came upstairs just as I was standing in the front yard, without a clue where I was!! WHEW! I was glad when Dad came out and picked me up and brought me back inside! I'd rather look at the outside from INSIDE in the window!

Favorite Fur Friend:  PURRL and Nelson (We are the 3 Musketeer Cats!) AND...my favorite doggie friend, Eliza Jane.

Favorite QVC Product:  All together now..."CHICKEN"!! I love when Mom orders Stuffin Gourmet and shares a little piece or two with ME!!
