Hi QVC Pet Loving Friends!!
I'm so happy that you are all enjoying my new monthly feature, "Carolyn's Fur Baby of the Month"!
THIS month, the featured pet is one of our cats, named PURRL. Purrl came to us as a tiny orphan, the only one of a rescued litter that was not adopted. She was SO tiny and had HUGE ears on her little head, and the shortest tail I'd ever seen on a kitten. She could fit in the palm of my hand. She was so little that she had to be isolated from the other cats in our family until she received all of her shots and could hold her own with the big cats.

Two weekends in a row raking leaves tells me it's fall. The days have really shortened up way too quickly for my tastes. Even our dogs know the difference. They're ready for bed about an hour earlier than normal and spend much more time tucked under our feet at the foot of the couch late in the evening. Trust a farmer on this one, ok — looks like this will be a long and wet winter (well, at least in my backyard, that is). Our sheep have already started plumping up, and even the caterpillars seem fatter and fuzzier than ever. Time to start stockpiling hay and getting the barn ready for so... Continue Reading
