Everything's Bigger in Texas

Visiting Arlington, TX for the Academy of Country Music 50th Celebration was an incredible experience. From the time we landed in Dallas until the time we stepped on the Red Carpet, Country Music and Texans alike welcomed us with open arms. 




 



Of course we packed so many activities into our tiny trip... As the saying goes "Everything's Bigger in Texas" and we had a big ole time. 


 




Spending time with Clint Black was such a wonderful experience. He's a gentle, kind soul that told so many stories about country music.


 



We tried our best to get my hair as high as Texas but with all of the humidity we decided to go with the "full of secrets" look. 


 


Each day was a laid back, cowboy boot kind of day.


 



At the end of our trip we set up shop on the ACM Red Carpet to hang out with some of Country Music Artists. What a blast! Everyone was so down to earth and had a great story to tell.
