Hello my LCNY  fashionistas...happy fall.  This is one of my favorite times of the year.  I love the crisp fall mornings and the cool evenings. I enjoy revisiting my fall favorites (sweaters and boots) and mixing together my new purchases.  Then when you least expect it .....you get a string of Indian summer days that you hang on to because you know what is coming after Thanksgiving...The white stuff and I do not mean frost.  On a more serious note...as many of you know through Facebook I had to put my buddy down of 14 years.  Talk about a tough day and extremely difficult decision.  I had a lot of trouble letting go.  Our children were 4,10 and 13 when  we got him.  He was there for Kevin's first day of school, the kids learning to drive, soccer games, prom dates, graduations, and our big move.  He was Larry's shadow when he became ill and was always at the ready for a cuddle or snuggle when tears were flowing.  He represented the six of us as a family together.  Kirby being the seventh.  Then as we know....Larry passed away...each of the twins got married...young Larry moved on to a job and apartment and yes....the baby Kevin went to college. Kirby was struggling and yet he stayed by my side to get me through all the big changes. So I made the right decision and set Kirby free.   So many of you sent me the loveliest Facebook posts.  I read each and every one of them.  As I have said in past you have been there with me through the good and bad.  I am thankful for our friendship. Please know I would give each of you a hug if I could. Your comments were heart warming. So now as a true empty nester I am revisiting the bucket list.  Remember I am desperately seeking Linda and finding out that this new found freedom is not such a bad thing .  Since our LCNY show will skip this Wednesday .....you can still shop and enjoy our fall fashions
