Hello my LCNY FASHIONISTAS.  February has rolled in with a bang.  I would like to have a conversation with a certain groundhog named PHIL but apparently he is in hiding due to the weather.  All kidding aside I hope each and every one of you is safe and warm.   After four days without power, house temp 43 degrees, living out of my trunk from family to friends to spend the night,  I clearly needed an attitude adjustment.  Mary Beth Roe and I had a fabulous meeting with the LCNY buyer Bridget yesterday.  Her passion and excitement for LCNY is infectious.  She is so excited about the "New You" item this week a paisley print button down tunic......awesome colors.  It is your favorite white button-down but in a classic LCNY paisley print.  MBR was uncontrollable.  All Bridget could talk about was color.........color makes you happy.  She is right.  The holidays are over, we are in the dead of winter, not even a box of valentine day chocolates is going to make a difference.   But a new colorful tee, or tunic or great dress or denim jacket coming your way is going to put a smile on your face. Guess what zero calories compared to the chocolates and it lasts longer.  Lets jump on Bridget's band wagon.....let's rekindle our enthusiasm, passion, and excitement and show the groundhog who is boss.  See you Wednesday morning....bring your beautiful smile and I will bring the color.
