Chicken Marsala

I hate to toot my own horn but Toot Toot!  This was delish.  I looked at a few different recipes as a guideline and just kind of did my own thing.  I substituted Marsala wine for a cheap Chardonnay that I had.  How can you go wrong with chicken, mushrooms & wine.  Enjoy!

Chicken Marsala

Ingredients:

4 - 6 Chicken breasts, pounded to 1/4 inch thickness

Seasoned Salt

Pepper

Poultry seasoning

1/2 cup flour

3 cups sliced mushrooms

1/2 cup chopped onions

1/2 cup Marsala wine (I  did not have any so I used Chardonnay)

1/4 cup cream

Olive oil

Directions:

Season the chicken breasts on both sides with poultry seasoning, seasoned salt & pepper.  Coat with flour.  Saute chicken breast until golden brown on both side.  Remove from pan, put them in a casserole dish.  Add a little more olive oil to the pan saute onions and mushroom for 5 -10 minutes.  Pour in wine, deglaze the pan.  Bring the mixture to a boil, add in cream stir.  Pour mushroom mixture over the chicken, bake covered for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
