Kitchen & Food

It's almost Monday, so The Wishful Dish is upon us!

In Kitchen & Food Talk, Recipe Swap, Hosts & Personalities

With Memorial Day right around the corner, the grill is definitely on my mind.  I think the number one food for the grill has to be the burger.  But how do we take a burger from average to amazing?   First, we skip the hamburger, and go right the steakburger.  Kansas City Steak Company makes the tastiest burgers in the biz and because they are made from steak trimmings, they are more juicy and flavorful than you can imagine. So, by themselves, they are delicious, but if you really want to kick it up a notch, add a condiment.  Now I don't mean ketchup or mustard, but a... Continue Reading

This one is right around Mother's Day, and I wanted to have a meal that made the whole family happy.  My Friday Night Meal this week is from Corky's, and will put a smile on everyone's face!  You may get a little messy, but that just means you are doing it right, and brings everyone closer.  You get 5 pounds of rib racks, and 2 full pounds of pulled pork.  That's a lot of barbecue!  Since The Wishful Dish airs on Mondays at 5pm, anything frozen will get there by Friday.  So, when you are tired of making it all come together for the week, I come to the rescue with...
