Flashback Friday! My Mom & I Make Sock It To Me Cake

Hi, everyone!


It SNOWED here yesterday in the Philadelphia area! We had a fire going in our living room last night and it felt like the holiday season was really here. Truth be told, it practically is here. Thanksgiving is two weeks away, Christmas is just over a month away, and it’s time to make all those recipes we wait for and covet after the holidays are long gone. As the snow was falling, I found myself in the kitchen gathering ingredients to make my mom’s Sock It To Me Cake. And before I knew it, I had a cake in the oven. Do you remember when my mom came to make that with me on You’re Home with Jill?



 


I was going to call that a Throwback Thursday video but it’s Friday…so how about Flashback Friday?! Smiley Happy Watching that again made me think about just how many family recipes I’ve shared and how many holiday videos we’ve created on YHJ. I’m so proud of what we’ve done and I know you’ll find my videos helpful. So get ready—this blog is my first official Flashback Friday post.
