Apple Pie a la Mode Smoothie

 

I love a good smoothie recipe! I like to make them for both breakfast and dessert, and this one falls somewhere in the middle. You can also swap out the frozen yogurt for regular yogurt, just add a few ice cubes!

 

This would be a fun alternative to apple pie after a a yummy fall meal, or as get-your-day going breakfast! Be sure to use your new Vitamix to make this extra smooth and creamy!

Apple Pie a la Mode Smoothie

 

Ingredients:

2 cups frozen non-fat vanilla yogurt
3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup apple juice, chilled
1 cup apple, peeled & diced
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

 

 


Directions:

 

Combine the frozen yogurt, applesauce, and apple juice in a blender. Then add the apple, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Blend until smooth.
