Getting Excited for Fall Baking

by on ‎08-20-2012 01:00 PM

Calling all Temp-tationistas (or just those that absolutely love to bake!):

Fire up your ovens and your sweet tooth! Fall is on the way, which means baking, baking, and more baking. Speaking of baking, I'm thrilled to share with you an exciting TSV coming up this Wednesday, August 22. I absolutely love this set. The pieces included are what you'd typically only find in metal bakeware. They're the workhorses of your kitchen, and now they're available in beautiful stoneware and floral lace designs to boot! There's something so peaceful about a warm, homemade apple crisp with freshly picked apples after you come home from the hay rides on a brisk afternoon. Or the smell in your home after you take a delicious batch of chocolate banana muffins out of the oven. Yum! Just thinking about this is making me hungry. Another great feature of this set is the adorable mini pie dishes that are included—perfect for gift giving or serving individual portions. There's truly something for everyone. There are even 18 great recipe cards included, just in case you need a few more sinful suggestions J. What's the one thing you love to bake?

So in addition to our fabulous Today's Special Value, the whole day is built around getting ready for the fall and getting a jump on all the great dishes we love to make and share with family and friends. You'll see new colors added to some of your favorite patterns, even some new never-seen-before patterns. This is actually the most we've ever offered in a single day including—drum roll, please—7 full hours dedicated to Temp-tations! You've been asking where all the new things are. So buckle up, because there's going to be a ton!

Well, I needed to get that out of the way because I knew if I didn't, you'd just read ahead anyway hee hee! I've had a great summer and even spent a week at Long Beach Island recently with some dear friends and family. This has been a tradition for almost 20 years, with this same crew, and it keeps getting better and better. I'm planning on heading out to see Amy in Colorado (and my godchildren of course) at the end of the month. I love going out there, and I'll definitely put some pictures up on Facebook for you. Once that's over, that'll pretty much end my travel for the year. I'm truly blessed to be able to take some time and see the world. J Well, travel in the USA, that is. There's nothing better, and don't even get me started about the Olympics—I was glued to the TV. OK, I'm starting to ramble which usually means I should wrap this up!

See you on Wednesday, August 22 for great dishes, great ideas, and your company.

Warmest Regards,
—Tara McConnell
