Mood: Spring-like and happy
What's in my cup:
Cafe Escapes Chai Latte with whipped cream on top (my new favorite, thanks to a new Facebook friend).
It appears spring has sprung here on the East coast! Today, my four-year-old boys and I have been outside enjoying the beautiful weather! We've been blowing bubbles, decorating the sidewalk with chalk, and swinging as high as we can on the swings. "Our feet almost touched the clouds," as Brady and Cole would say. I love getting outside and enjoying the fresh air. Though it was a mild winter, it certainly has seemed like a long one. Hope you're enjoying gorgeous weather as well.
We've had a very busy few weeks here in our household. Keith has been traveling quite a bit...he's on his way home now from the International Home & Housewares Show in Chicago where he saw all kinds of new and exciting things. Can't wait for him to get home and share the excitement with me. But being home with my tribe has proved challenging as well...getting all five of them dressed, fed, and out the door by 8am has kept me on my toes. Keith is such a huge help when he's home, something I think I may take for granted a little bit—but shhhh, don't tell him I said that!
With that being said, my
Keurig brewer has gotten a big workout this week. To me, there's nothing more comforting than wrapping your hand around that warm coffee cup and escaping from the chaos of your day, even if it's just for a little while. With one sip, it can transform my mood, lighten the load, and completely change my outlook. My brewer has been working overtime, brewing
Cafe Escapes Milk & Dark Chocolate Cocoa and
Green Mountain Naturals Hot Apple Cider for the kiddies, and tons of coffee and tea for yours truly. My
Coffee People Donut Shop Coffee, Green Mountain Coffee Nantucket Blend, and
Celestial Seasonings English Breakfast Black Tea are all my favorites. And my newest obsession is the
Cafe Escapes Chai Latte topped with whipped cream. A new Facebook friend shared it with me on my
