The Big Game is this Sunday! And we want to make sure you're absolutely ready to host a house full of hungry people. Or, at the very least, attend a game-day party with a winning recipe. P.S. I’m so glad you all are as thrilled as I am that In the Kitchen with David is getting a cookbook! Because I know you’re excited about what’s to come (as am I!), I promise to update you throughout the process right here in my Monday blog. So first things first…comfort. Why a comfort food book? Because to me, and to so many foodies, comfort food and comforting memories go hand in hand.

When I take a bite of macaroni and cheese, I’m whisked back to my mother’s kitchen and I’m surrounded by the people I love.

 

Everyone has a memory like that…a dish that makes them feel warm, fuzzy, safe, and secure whether they’re at home or not. I wanted to create a book where all those heart-warming and tummy-filling recipes could live. I wanted the home cook to open it and feel confident that he or she can make a meal that says “come, sit, and stay as long as you like.” So that’s what we’re doing…and the next step in the process is picking a title. What do you think the cookbook should be called? I’d love any ideas you might have on that!
