November is Comfort Food Month! Italian Wedding Soup this Wednesday!

Hello, foodies…

 

Happy Halloween! I'm all decked out in orange and black and I'm ready for all those ghosts, goblins, princesses, and pumpkins! I even have candy for the trick-or-treaters. Never mind how many times I had to replenish my stash!

 

Tomorrow we usher in a new month. And, with every month comes a new theme on In the Kitchen with David. This November, we're highlighting comfort foods (my favorite)! And for our first show on Wednesday night, we're kicking it off with a big bowl of delicious soup!

P.S. I was just in the Big Apple for the NYC Wine & Food Festival sponsored by FOOD & WINE! And, guess who I ran into? Chef David Burke! While I had the opportunity, I decided to ask Chef Burke for tip or two on how he makes soup at his restaurants. Not only did he tell me in the video below, but he even shared his secret ingredient: butter!
